Internship Opportunity

Are you a graduate student in need of a site placement for your practicum/internship field experiences?
Are you interested in learning about private practice and building your own thriving practice after you graduate or obtain full licensure?
Then, you have come to the right place!!!

Join me as you embark on the final phases of your graduate program!

Intern will be provided the opportunity to observe clinical sessions with current practice clients who authorize consent.
Intern will build their own caseload to provide ongoing outpatient counseling services.
Intern will have the freedom and flexibility to explore their clinical areas of interest.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer Biopsychosocial assessments, appropriate questionnaires, and diagnostic evaluations
Create collaborative and cohesive treatment plans
Collaborate with other agency professionals as needed
Write concise clinical progress notes for each session
Attend weekly supervision sessions
Engage in additional trainings, online research, and other pertinent activities to meet client needs and your program requirements
Maintain client electronic health records using Simple Practice

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Intern must be attending an accredited academic program and be a candidate in masters of counseling or clinical social work program
Must be approved for an internship placement by college
Maintain good academic standing during internship
Willingness to serve a diverse range of clients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
Ability to take professional feedback and incorporate recommendations into clinical practice
Willingness to fully assess for risk and safety

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

You will receive $30.00 cash reimbursement per session
You will choose your own hours and have access to the shared office space
Services will be offered using a hybrid approach where some clients will meet with you in the shared office space for in person sessions and others will attend sessions using the HIPAA compliant telehealth platform via Simple Practice EHR system
