Tiffany Manson LCPC, LADC, CCS, CGP
Integrative Clinical Counselor Group Practice Owner
Welcome
My name is Tiffany Manson, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), and Certified Grief Professional (CGP). I opened my private practice over a decade ago with the vision of creating a safe, supportive space where individuals could heal, grow, and rediscover their strengths. In 2024, that vision expanded into a group counseling practice, allowing us to serve more individuals and families while fostering a collaborative team of clinicians who share the same commitment to compassionate, high-quality care. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in community mental health, case management, substance use treatment, residential programs, outpatient counseling, and private practice. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for both the complexity of healing and the incredible resilience people possess—even during life's most difficult seasons.
My Counseling Philosophy
At The Canvas of Life Counseling, we believe therapy is about much more than reducing symptoms. It is an opportunity to heal, grow, gain insight, and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful. Life inevitably brings mountains, valleys, and unexpected challenges, but those experiences can also become opportunities for resilience, transformation, and personal growth. I believe every individual possesses inherent strengths, even when those strengths feel difficult to recognize. My role is not to tell clients how to live their lives, but to walk alongside them as they process difficult experiences, develop healthier patterns, and reconnect with the person they were always meant to be.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, trauma-informed, and non-pathologizing. Every individual is unique, and I believe therapy should reflect that. Rather than relying on a single treatment model, I tailor treatment to each client's goals, strengths, personality, and life experiences while building a therapeutic relationship founded on trust, authenticity, compassion, and acceptance. My theoretical orientation is grounded in a humanistic and pragmatic framework with strong integration of Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also incorporate interventions from: Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI) Narrative Therapy Compassion-Focused Therapy Mindfulness-Based Interventions Somatic Approaches Existential Therapy Solution-Focused Therapy Creative and Expressive Therapeutic Interventions I believe healing involves the whole person: mind, body, heart, and soul, and that meaningful change often occurs through both relational and experiential healing.
Areas of Clinical Focus
I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating: Anxiety and depression Trauma and complex PTSD Narcissistic Abuse, domestic violence and relational trauma Grief and loss Relationship and family concerns Life transitions and identity development Self-esteem and self-worth Emotional regulation Co-occurring disorders Childhood adversity and attachment wounds First responder, helping professional, and caregiver stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply seeking greater fulfillment and balance, my goal is to provide a supportive environment where healing and lasting change can occur.
Leadership & Clinical Supervision
In addition to providing psychotherapy, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals. As a Certified Clinical Supervisor and owner of The Canvas of Life Counseling, I provide supervision, training, and professional development for licensed clinicians as well as graduate-level counseling and social work interns. Helping clinicians grow into confident, ethical, and compassionate professionals has become one of the most meaningful aspects of my career.
Creating Your Canvas of Life
At The Canvas of Life Counseling, we believe every life is a work of art that is continually being created. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or simply searching for greater purpose and fulfillment, our team is here to support you with compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they rediscover their strengths, embrace healing, and begin painting the next chapter of their story with intention, hope, resilience, and purpose.
Why Clients Choose to Work With Me
I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of successful outcomes, and I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and collaboration in every session. My goal is to provide a space where healing feels safe, growth feels possible, and clients leave each session with greater hope, insight, and confidence.
