Erica is the Clinical Administrative Assistant at the Canvas of Life Counseling. She holds her MHRT-C and is currently a student at the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health and Human Services with a minor in Addiction Counseling. In addition to her studies, Erica works full-time in a young adult mental health transitional living program and previously served as a Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist. Her background also includes experience in healthcare as a CNA, Pharmacy Technician, medical records staff member, and within a school-based health center. These roles have given her a well-rounded understanding of both the clinical and practical sides of care and allow her to support the practice in a way that is organized, responsive, and compassionate. Erica brings a thoughtful, trauma-informed lens to her work and understands that a well-supported clinical team creates a better experience for everyone involved. She values consistency, clear communication, and steady follow-through, helping maintain a calm and organized foundation within the practice. Her attention to detail and reliability help create a structured environment where providers can focus on their clinical roles with confidence. Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, camping, and fishing. She has a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with others and as a December born Sagittarius, she also appreciates a good , not so good, dad joke.
