The Canvas of Life Counseling, LLC offers limited services provided by graduate-level clinical interns who are completing their Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Social Work under close supervision.
Administrative Fee for Intern Services
Clients who choose to work with a clinical intern are charged a reduced administrative fee of $36.00 per session, rather than a psychotherapy fee. This administrative fee helps cover the costs associated with:
~Clinical supervision and oversight by a licensed clinician
~Training, documentation review, and case consultation
~Practice administrative support and compliance requirements
The administrative fee reflects the structure of supervised training services and allows clients to access care at a lower cost while supporting the intern’s clinical education.

Quality of Care and Supervision
All intern-provided services are closely supervised by a licensed clinician. Treatment planning, documentation, and clinical decision-making are reviewed regularly to ensure ethical, trauma-informed, and high-quality care. Clients are fully informed when they are receiving services from a clinical intern and may request services with a licensed clinician at any time, subject to availability.
