Chelsea plays a critical role in substance use recovery as a pillar of The Canvas of Life Counseling’s integrative healing collective, and also serves as the administrative assistant for Canvas of Life Counseling.
As a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, in private practice, Chelsea specializes in helping individuals struggling with substance use and behavioral health issues. She is passionate about supporting clients on their path to recovery, guiding them through the challenges of addiction, and empowering them to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Also, she works with affected others to provide the support, education, and resources necessary to cope with the unique challenges they face and to help them foster healthier relationships with the person in recovery.
Chelsea attended the University of Maine at Augusta's Mental Health and Human Services program. She has completed trainings in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and the 12-Step model. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of settings, including case management programs, outpatient treatment centers and community organizations. These experiences have given her the opportunity to work with diverse populations. Whether you are looking for support as an affected other, with overcoming addiction, managing stress, or building healthier relationships, she is here to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and personal growth.

Chelsea's Counseling Philosophy
Chelsea's counseling philosophy is centered in the belief that every individual has the capacity for change and growth.
