Angela is a dedicated mental health counseling student with a strong foundation in education, counseling, and wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut in 1990, where she also excelled as a member and captain of the Women’s Track & Field Team. Following her undergraduate studies, Angela worked as a Juvenile Caseworker for Probation and Parole and later as a Case Manager at Youth and Family Services, gaining valuable experience in youth advocacy and intervention. In 2004, she earned her Master of Science in Education with a concentration in School Counseling from the University of Maine, Orono. For the past 25 years, Angela has served as a school counselor, primarily at the high school level, with additional experience working with middle school students. Her extensive background in coaching, fitness instruction, personal training, and wellness enhances her holistic approach to counseling, integrating physical, emotional, and mental well-being into the therapeutic process. Angela is committed to fostering a trusting and supportive relationship with her clients, believing that a strong therapeutic alliance is the foundation for meaningful growth. With a multidimensional, person-centered, and strengths-based approach, she collaborates with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that empower them on their journey toward self-discovery and wellness.
